Usage Guidelines
1.Preparation
Ensure the surface of the fabric is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or wrinkles. Iron the fabric in advance if necessary to make it flat.
Check the fabric type: Avoid using on delicate fabrics (e.g., silk, lace) that cannot withstand high temperatures. Test a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first to prevent damage.
Position the embroidery patch on the desired location, ensuring it is aligned correctly (use a ruler or marker to mark the position if needed).
2. Heat Transfer Application (Recommended for Most Fabrics)
Set the iron to the appropriate temperature: For cotton/linen fabrics, use medium-high temperature (150-160℃); for polyester fabrics, use low-medium temperature (130-140℃); do not use steam.
Place a thin cloth (e.g., cotton cloth) over the embroidery patch to protect the threads and fabric from direct heat.
Press the iron firmly on the patch for 15-20 seconds, ensuring full coverage of the patch. Apply even pressure to avoid partial non-adhesion.
After ironing, let the patch cool down completely (about 5-10 minutes) before lifting the protective cloth. If the patch edges are loose, repeat the ironing process for 5-10 seconds.
3. Sewing Application (For Fabrics Not Suitable for Heat Transfer)
Position the embroidery patch on the fabric and secure it with pins to prevent displacement during sewing.
Use a sewing machine or hand sewing to stitch along the edge of the patch (about 2-3mm from the edge). Choose a thread color that matches the patch or fabric for a neat appearance.
After sewing, cut off excess threads and check the stitching to ensure it is firm and even.
4. Care Instructions
Washing: Turn the garment inside out before washing. Use cold or warm water (below 30℃) and gentle washing mode; avoid harsh detergents, bleaching, or soaking for a long time.
Drying: Air dry naturally or tumble dry on low heat; do not expose to direct sunlight for a long time to prevent color fading.
Ironing: If ironing is needed, iron from the reverse side of the fabric, and do not press directly on the patch to avoid damaging the threads.
5. Notes
Keep the patch away from high temperatures, open flames, and sharp objects to avoid damage.
Do not peel off the adhesive backing before use, as it will affect the adhesion effect.
For large or heavy patches, it is recommended to combine heat transfer with sewing for more secure fixation.
